Before Deciding

When our representatives are making important decisions that impact all of our lives I believe it is important to ask one basic question before making
those decisions,
Is this good for
the children?

Just imagine what our world would be like if that question was asked prior to making decisions about going to war, the environment, education or healthcare.

Incumbents: The BOS has passed along with several cities in Sonoma County a Climate Emergency Resolution, What specific actions have you supported to help moved this resolution forward and what is your timetable?

Question #3 - There is an initiative that folks hope to get on the ballot in November, The Evelyn Cheatham Ordinance to repeal and replace article XXVII of the Sonoma County code establishing the independent office of law enforcement review and outreach(IOLERO), . The proposed ordinance would expand the oversight authority and independence of IOLERO to review and analyze complaint against the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office(Sheriff – Coroner) and would also include and expand the Community Advisory Council (CAC) currently appointed by the IOLERO director. Explain your position.

Secret Question:  In talking with people about some of their concerns besides the areas we covered, I have heard it is hard to make personal contact with the supervisors and there is too much limitation around public comment. What are some of the ways will you meet the challenge of accessibility and time constraints?
